Meet Your guide

I am Stone Joseph, the owner and Guide behind Pursuit Fly Fishing. I hold three things close to my heart Faith, Family, and Fly Fishing. I have been obsessed with fishing for as long as I can remember and have had a fly rod in my hand for the better part of my life. Nothing drives me more than the Pursuit of a fish. The planning behind a trip, getting to the stream, reading the water, figuring out what the fish are eating, and finally making that cast and that feeling when you hook into that fish. That feeling is what really drove me deeper and deeper into the world of fly fishing. What I found I loved even more was helping others experience that feeling. My guiding career started out just taking family and friends out fishing and showing them the ropes, and when they would have success it was one of the greatest feelings I ever had in fly fishing. That quickly grew into taking others out and I fell in love with not just getting people to catch fish but being able to teach fly fishing. These experiences led to the start of Pursuit fly fishing. My goal with Pursuit is that you walk away a better angler than when you showed up. That you pursue your goals in fly fishing and never stop the pursuit of the fish.
